Install the app

Install OKR Companion as an app

Two or three steps and OKR Companion sits on your desktop or home screen with its own icon and opens in its own window – no app store, no download, the same login on every device.

Mac

In Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Safari on the Mac cannot install web apps in their own window – from macOS Sonoma on, its “Add to Dock” works similarly.

  1. Open the app: go to okr-companion.com/app and give it a moment to load.
  2. Install: this icon appears at the right of the address bar: Click it. Or use the Chrome menu → “Cast, save and share” → “Install page as app”.
  3. Confirm: click “Install”. The app opens in its own window right away and lands in your Dock.

To remove it: open the app window, menu (⋮) → “Uninstall OKR Companion”. Or go to chrome://apps in Chrome and right-click the icon.

Open the app

Windows

In Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  1. Open the app: go to okr-companion.com/app.
  2. Install: click this icon at the right of the address bar: In Edge the menu entry is “Apps” → “Install this site as an app”.
  3. Confirm: choose “Install”. The app shows up in the Start menu and can be pinned to the taskbar.

To remove it: like any other app, via “Settings → Apps → Installed apps”.

Open the app

iPhone & iPad

In Safari. From iOS 16.4 on it also works from Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

  1. Open the app: go to okr-companion.com/app in Safari.
  2. Share: tap the share icon at the bottom (at the top on iPad):
  3. Add to Home Screen: scroll down the list, choose “Add to Home Screen” and confirm with “Add”.

The icon then sits among your other apps and the app opens full screen without the browser bar. To remove it: press and hold the icon → “Remove App”.

The installed app does everything the desktop app in the browser does: dictation, photo upload and all three AI tools work just the same.
Open the app

Android

In Google Chrome. Samsung Internet, Edge and Firefox offer the same step.

  1. Open the app: go to okr-companion.com/app.
  2. Install: Chrome shows an “Install app” bar at the bottom. If it doesn’t: menu → “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  3. Confirm: tap “Install”. Android creates a real app icon, including an entry in the app list.

To remove it: like any other app – press and hold the icon → “Uninstall”.

Open the app

Good to know: the installed app is the same as the one in the browser. Updates arrive automatically, there is never anything to download. Login, chat histories and subscription apply across devices – one login for all of them. Questions about the plans? They are on the pricing page.
